Project Description

How can graphic design translate scientific data into lived experience?
S.I.G.N.A.L. is a spatial graphic system that transforms data from near-Earth asteroid 101955 Bennu into projection, motion, sound, printed objects, and interactive microsites. Instead of presenting space as numbers on a screen, the project uses scale, rhythm, and touch to make astronomical information more immediate.

The experience should not stop when people left the room. The microsite is one way to extend the experience.
